Taco Revolution's vegan version of the traditional chorizo sausage, this tofu, lentil, and potato mix is quite intense in flavour. Best cooked in a pan to add a crisp edge. Serve for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
400g; arrives frozen. Made in a gluten-free facility backed by The Celiac Scene.
Ingredients: tofu, green lentils, green bell peppers, vegetable oil shortening, white vinegar, potatoes, canola oil, chorizo spice mix (ancho chili, guajillo chili, chipotle chili, bay leaf, coriander, oregano, clove, cumin, cinnamon, black pepper, salt).
Prep instructions: thaw overnight. Fry in a large pan over medium heat until desired level of browning, stirring often. Enjoy with your favourite tortillas and toppings (recommended: diced onion, cilantro or cilantro pesto, guacamole, and salsa).
