Arbutus Farms Kitchen is an independent food company established in 1997 in the beautiful Cowichan Valley. We use local ingredients whenever possible and source many of our ingredients from Vancouver Island and the Fraser Valley. 64% of the ingredients we use are from Vancouver Island, 79% are from British Columbia, and 86% Canadian as a whole. Buying local plays a supportive role in our products being as fresh as possible; as well as supporting BC food producers and reducing our carbon footprint.We never add MSG to our products; we use natural preservatives such as citrus juices and vinegar whenever possible. We pride ourselves on making healthy dishes just like you would at home, with international flair. We recycle all our supplier packaging, keeping metal, plastic and cardboard out of landfills. We send our vegetable scraps back to our local farmers to be used as feed and compost.
